Block Quote Block

Overview

Often confused with the Pull Quote and a Testimonial blocks, the Block Quote block is their lesser used cousin. A block quote is used to display an extended excerpt from another body of work such as a research article, annual report or strategic plan.

A good rule of thumb is to use a block quote if a quoted excerpt is going to be more than three lines of a paragraph when displayed on a desktop. In these scenarios, using a Block Quote block will help make the excerpt easier to read and identify within your page.
