Video Image Block

Creating clean YouTube embeds with a custom thumbnail

This block is only featured in the Premium Tier of the NC State Web Platform.

The Video Image block can be used to create a clean video embed on a WordPress site. In addition to embedding the video, the Video Image block allows for a customizable thumbnail that features a play button icon and a wider styling option. At this time the Video Image block only supports YouTube videos. When uploading video from a source like Vimeo, it is recommended to use a standard video embed.
