Paragraph Block
The paragraph block is one of the most basic blocks within NC State Stories, but it forms the spine of your stories.
There isn’t much to a paragraph block, but it plays an important role nonetheless within your posts. The bulk of your content will be within paragraph blocks.
Basic formatting options are available. Those options include:
- Bolding
- Italicizing
- Hyperlinking
- Adding superscripts and subscripts
The text can also be left, center, and right aligned; however, the default of left alignment should almost always be used.
Within a news post, you can choose to have the first line of a paragraph be formatted as a lead line. This causes the first line to be all uppercase and bolded to help pace a longer story and indicate the start of a new section.
