It automatically resets itself &#8212; and deletes all new content &#8212; every night.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that any content populated here will be viewable by anyone with a Unity ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gaining Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ucomm.ncsu.edu\/training\/wp-admin\">https:\/\/dev.ucomm.ncsu.edu\/training\/wp-admin<\/a> and log in with your Unity ID and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will automatically be added as an administrator to the site. This will give you full access to manage the site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Workshop Agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop provides an overview of getting started in WordPress. We will address the basics of logging in for the first time, adding a page, and building out content using blocks. There is also a &#8220;hands-on&#8221; portion where learners will get to practice using the Gutenberg editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn how to use the fundamental blocks that will be used on any webpage. Blocks include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Headings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paragraphs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buttons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Images<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Media Library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>WordPress supports the housing of the media content on your website via a Media Library. This is a powerful tool that grants the ability to manage the images, videos, and other kinds of media on your website in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Media library considerations that we will cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>File naming<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Caption and alt-text<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media replace plugin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Images and PDFs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placeholder Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need to populate content during the workshop, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ucomm.ncsu.edu\/training\/placeholder-content\/\">Placeholder Content page<\/a> has text that can be used.
