NC State Web Platform Release 3.8

A new minor version with a new feature is available, after a period small fixes and incremental improvements to the NC State Web Platform. A number of quality of life improvements and bug fixes are also included in this theme version.

Graduate Catalog Block

Version 3.8 of the theme includes a block that integrates with the Graduate catalog. The block displays degree and program requirements in addition to course descriptions. The block pulls information from catalog.ncsu.edu and always displays the most up-to-date information. This functionality should reduce the burden of having to manually maintain duplicative information on your own site.

Quality of Life Improvements

A few small additions are also included in version 3.8 that improve the user experience. Those include:

• Anchor points can now be added to the Featured Content block and also the individual cards that comprise the block.
• Recommended character counts and image dimensions for search engine and social media metadata have been updated with the latest platform information.

A few additional bug fixes are included that ensure the theme keeps working well in WordPress 6.0 and also address some Gravity Forms styling changes.
